Oxford Castle appoint Dulay Seymour to take them forward into 2013
A 'Happy New Year' it is indeed, as for Dulay Seymour the new year has welcomed a brand new (yet very old) client through our door... Oxford Castle.
Oxford Castle has been used as a place of incarceration since 1071, and only closed as a prison in 1996. The wonderful ancient buildings have been preserved and are now open to the public. Visitors learn the horrifying tales of what happened there over the past 10,000 years, and with guided tours, venture through the prisons, up into the execution tower, and down into the underground crypts.
If there's one thing everyone in our studio has in common, it's our love of castles. Especially ones with shocking histories and a secret passage or two. So when the opportunity came up to pitch to work on Oxford Castle's marketing materials, we were more than determined to win.
Competing against other design agencies nationally, we impressed the marketing team at Oxford Castle with our design visuals for the new season tourist leaflet. Blown away by one of our design in particular, Oxford Castle have decided to run with the concept for not only the leaflet, but all of the subsequent marketing materials, such as adverts, streetliners, flyers and e-shots.
We can't wait to begin developing our designs and working with the Oxford Castle team closely over the next few months. Hmmm, wonder if it's feasible for the whole agency to shut up shop for the day and go on a site visit?
